Digital Transformation Partner since 2000

ERCO.com is one of the most comprehensive websites for architectural lighting worldwide and pursues these essential goals: The presentation of ERCO’s extensive product range, the provision of planning data, the communication of technical lighting expertise, and digital support for brand communication. The platform supports lighting designers, architects, and building owners through a clear structure and comprehensive information about several tens of thousands of lighting products.
The digital platform provides users worldwide with the technical data and planning aids they need for selecting and applying ERCO luminaires. The website is a central component of ERCO’s brand strategy and strengthens the company’s image as a provider of high-quality and innovative lighting solutions. ERCO.com is offered in seven languages and is optimized for international and US markets, which places special demands on localization and content maintenance.

In addition to the extensive product catalog, ERCO.com offers additional features that facilitate access to the lighting range. The Product Finder, now available in its third version, is a central tool for users to specifically search for lighting products.
With myERCO, there is a community area where website users have access to functions for collecting and structuring article selections and auxiliary functions for creating quotes.
Another area is “Lighting knowledge,” a digitally prepared compendium that conveys in-depth knowledge about lighting design. The offering is complemented by a project area, which regularly presents new reference projects from around the world. High-quality visual material illustrates how ERCO luminaires work in real applications.

To reliably and scalably deliver ERCO.com’s content, we have built a complex infrastructure supported by a Kubernetes cluster. This orchestrates the website’s various services and ensures a stable and high-performance user experience. The platform is connected via a Product Information Management (PIM) system that supports ERCO’s continuous product innovation cycle. This allows new products and updates to be integrated directly into the web platform twice a year.

As a long-term cooperation partner for ERCO, we are responsible for all technical and design processes that directly affect the web platform. We manage and coordinate the entire “last mile” area from PIM to website and ensure that product and content updates are integrated smoothly and promptly. This also includes collaboration with other actors such as translation agencies and SEO agencies who support us in localization and optimization.
Our tasks also include implementing marketing-relevant topics such as developing and conducting campaigns.
Insights from our collection and analysis of usage data flow back into the website’s further development and contribute to the continuous optimization of user-friendliness and brand presence.

The concept behind ERCO.com is based on the idea that lighting designers worldwide, regardless of their location, have comprehensive access to planning data and product information from ERCO. Over the years, this vision has evolved into a comprehensive digital toolbox that offers users flexible and powerful support for their lighting projects.
We work to ensure that the Light Scout remains a powerful digital tool that positions ERCO as a leading brand in architectural lighting and supports lighting designers worldwide in implementing their projects.
