The funding applies to unlisted micro-enterprises that were founded no more than three years ago. In addition, the company must be based in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The application can be submitted online via the EFRE.NRW.online portal or in writing to the authorising body.
The authorising body is the NRW Innovation Promotion Agency, Wilhelm-Johnen-Straße, 52428 Jülich, postal address: 52425 Jülich.
Funding begins and ends with the implementation period. This is communicated in the grant notification.
The voucher is valid for the entire authorisation period. The authorisation period is expressly stated in the grant notification. The project can be settled within this period.
The funding amounts to up to 50,000 euros for external services in the context of prototype development. The funding amounts to 70 per cent of the eligible expenditure.
This means that the maximum grant is 35,000 euros. The de minimis limit for funding is 15,000 euros.

The funded start-up must indicate in its communication that it is funded by the EU and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, the funded start-up must use the EU emblem and the logo of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy. It must also use the ‘Go-to-Market’ logo. The logos may not be changed.
